Is it necessary to know any programming before starting a Computer Science degree?

I know a lot about computers (I’m typing this from Linux, that should say something). I know a lot about fixing, troubleshooting, networking, etc. but I do not know any programming.

How much programming, if any, should I learn before starting a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science?

And no… I don’t want to do CIS because it’s business oriented. I hate business related topics!
